12 Month Update

Sorry for the delay in posting this, we were wrapped up in planning Ava's birthday party and then Thanksgiving was soon after...So here it is...Last week Ava went in for her 12 month checkup. Everything checked out good. Her weight is 22 lbs 7 ounces which puts her in the 75 percentile and her height is 31 inches which puts her in the 95 percentile. The doctor commented that her motor skills and walking are very good :)

Below are some different new things she's doing different since last month.

• Her hands are constantly in her mouth! She is probably teething, she currently has 2 bottom teeth.
• She drinks her bottle on her own but insists on walking while she drinks! Hey whatever works :)
• She turns her books right side up if they're upsidedown.
• She loves to eat cheese and bread
• She can say the word water in portuguese - "agua"
• She loves to chase people or be chaced
• She likes waving to people when we go out shopping
• She lovess to pretend she is talking on the phone with her babling
• She loves looking at her books over and over again
• The world stops when her cartoons are on, in fact if she is grumpy from her afternoon nap the only things that instantly calms her is putting on her show!
• She has become very clingy with Momma when we are at home probably because she is teething
• Lately she has been walking while looking up at the ceiling and giggling, so silly!
