Tigger and Pooh!

For a long time Ava has enjoyed 2 cartoons on the PBS network which include Super Why & Sid the Science Kid. She sits in her seat and watches them from beginning to end. She now has a new favorite which is My Friends Tigger and Pooh on the Disney channel. We have always had a few toys from the Winnie and Pooh collection that she would play with occasionally. But since watching the show she is very interested in these toys now. She especially enjoys pointing them out so we can name all the characters. This past weekend we went to a book store and wanted to get her some new books since she enjoys them so much. Once we found the My friends tigger and pooh that was it, she didn't want to be bothered with any other books. It made for a relatively cheap purchase :)

This past week Ava has been clear about what she wants. She finds the tv remote and holds it close to her. Next she finds either myself or Victor and leads us to the living room where she sits in her chair and points to the tv! We have both gotten a good chuckle out of this. She is pretty clever too. For example, on the weekends Victor usually wakes up before I do and gets her out of the crib since he doesn't get to do so during the week because of work. The first thing she does is give him the remote when she gets to the living room when she knows she is suppose to have breakfast and then watch morning cartoons later on. She knows Dadda doesn't the know the routine and lets her watch. Whereas she knows better not to try this with Momma in the morning. Not a chance little one :)
