Stats & Christmas Cheer

We recently took Ava in for her 2 year check up. Her stats look good. Her height is 37.5 inches placing her taller than most 3 year olds! It's no wonder she is wearing 3T clothing being in the 90-95 percentile. Her weight is 31 lbs which places her in the 75th percentile which she has been at all her check ups. I really believe she would have weighed in more had she not been sick last week. Thank heavens for our healthy little one who is getting bigger and talking so much now. We love her to pieces.

So as I mentioned, we have all have been battling our colds last week and I really think the worst is behind us now as we are feeling better. We have decked our halls with Christmas cheer! I just love Christmas decorations, it puts me in such a happy mood each time I look at it. Looking at my collection after it was all up, I realized that I really do love all snowman and red berry decor.

I must be honest, I was a bit weary about putting up a Christmas tree this year with my very curious & touchy toddler. But so far, she has been great! Since we are limited with space, we chose a small tree this year (the same as last year - 4 feet) and it looks cute. I had Ava help me hand the decorations as I placed them on the tree. She enjoys sitting on the couch and admiring all the ornaments, it's so cute to watch.

One of our neighbors has two huge blown up Christmas figures displayed on their porch as we enter the building. One is a polar bear and the other is a nutcracker. Ava has been yelling out their names and her pronunciation is just hilarious. I need to capture it on video and post for you to appreciate it. It cracks us all up.

We have trying to do our shopping early this year and have ordered a lot online, taking advantage of free shipping and good discounts. We know it's a super busy holiday and it goes by much to fast. Hope you take some time to enjoy some of the special moments this magical holiday brings!
