Growing up my mom use to make a pistachio cake using yellow cake mix with pistachio pudding mix for flavor along with pudding mix in the icing. She hasn't made this in what seems like forever. These cupcakes reminded me of my childhood. So I set out to fulfill my pistachio craving while reliving my childhood too. I found this wonderful recipe on another blog spot and I was excited about trying it. The recipe for this pretty chocolate pistachio cake can be found at this blog spot ~ P is for Party.
In the oven it goes...so pretty, don't you think?
Mmmmmmm Ava approved too!
This easy recipe is a keeper, it was super moist. Next time I am going to substitute the chocolate syrup with melted chocolate chips for a darker look and stronger chocolate taste. Makes a pretty St. Patty's cake too!
Yum! You make beautiful bundt cakes. I always manage to get at least a piece of mine stuck in the pan. This looks so pretty (but not as pretty as sweet Ava in her pigtails)!
ReplyDeleteThanks Kristen! Here is what I do, I use Pam spray w/ flour. Also when I take it out of the oven I let it cool in the pan for 15 minutes then flip it out onto the plate. Hope these hints help :)
