Creamy Chicken Pot Pie

Not sure it's my pregnancy or the fact that the Fall season is upon us that has be craving comfort foods like chicken pot pie. Although this first weekend in October did not feel like Fall at all with the high humidity, yuck! I'll take anything minus the humidty. Anyhow I must note that my husband also loves chicken pot pie. He usually likes to buy the premade ones that don't appeal to me what so ever. In my opinion, they are always lacking, either too much sauce or not enough veggies and chicken and not to mention who knows how much sodium and heaven knows what else they put in them. I have made it a couple of times in the past but it was nothing to rave about. Our comments were "gee let's not make that recipe again!". However I am happy to report I have found one that came out great this weekend. The recipe is for a creamy chicken stew and they suggested it would make a great pot pie too. It sure did, find the recipe here. Enjoy!
