Our purrrfect kitty goes trick or treating

Our Halloween activity for the past 2 years has been going to BOO at the local zoo we belong too. However between myself and my parents we have been there many times since the Halloween decor has been up. This year we decided to switch it up. The Children's Museum in Providence was having a Halloween event where the kids could go in their costumes. As you can see, Ava was soooo excited to wear her new kitty costume. We all had a blast watching her play.

Halloween night came and it was time to go trick or treating. This was a first for Ava, we had not gone in the past. I tried painting her nose again however it must have been too itchy, because each time she would scratch it off. On my last attempt of painting she got so worked up that she buried her nose in the carpet to wipe it off! This had Vic & I laughing up a storm. Okay I get it, no nose makeup tonight.

We headed to Nana & Vovo's neighborhood to trick or treat. Our first home we rang was interesting, she walked up to the door and just as the woman was about to hand the candy, she bolted five houses down back to Nana & Vovo's home! Each home got a tad bit better, she stopped running away but one of us would have to collect the candy for her.We did a total of 5 houses on my parents street and she told us she had enough candy and wasn't interested in going to any more homes.

One of Ava's favorite parts of the night was handing out the candy at Nana & Vovo's home. She got excited when the door bell rang and was curious to see their costumes.
