Plenty of time on my hands now...

Well yesterday was a rough day for me, my company with whom I have worked for the last five yrs, had their 3rd lay off. In February they had their 2nd layoff and also cut down to a 4 day work week. They were hoping things would improve by May if they were able to raise money. Unfortunately they weren't able to and had to let more employees go including myself. It was a good run while it lasted. Work was less then a few minutes from home, close to Nana & Grandpa to drop off the baby while I went to work, and my coworkers were great. I'm going to miss working there for sure. But I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason even it's not obvious at the moment.

On the bright side, I get to spend more time with my daughter & get things done. So I guess I got a break, see previous post, just not the kind of break I had in mind...
