I have been looking forward to the fall for a while. I just love the leaves turning color, the cooler weather, comfort food and baked goodies. We had begun the weekend by attending the Annual Apple & Peach festival with my parents. Growing up, we always went. They have some of the most delicious pies. Each year I look forward to getting 2 different kinds. This year we got apple and blueberry which we all enjoyed after dinner at Mom & Dad's. It was a fun day. Ava enjoyed going and running around at Nana & Grandpa's.
This past week we stayed at my in laws home house & pet sitting while they went on their Caribbean cruise. Luckily I have some vacation time left to take so I decided it would be nice to spend it with Ava. Unfortunately Vic only has one week which he used in the Cape but it was a shorter commute for him from work so it worked out for everyone.
We had a nice dinner with our friends Leno & Shannon on Sunday. During the week during the day, I had visited my parents for lunch on day and then they visited us for lunch later in the week. Ava & I also had a couple play dates with our friends Jackie & Ava Sophia and also with cousin Colleen & Isabel. The little ones had a fabulous time playing together, being outdoors and playing with the animals. It was also great for the Mommies to catch up too! The weather felt like the start of autumn with it being in the high 60's / low 70's. We also had Dave, Colleen & Isabel over for dinner one night. We wanted to thank everyone who came over to spend time with us. It was so nice and we enjoyed your company.
Below are some photos taken during our week. Not sure if it's just me but Ava looks so much older in these!
Ava loved coloring at the table.
The kitties looking out the back door.
Good old Joey, such a smart and loving dog.
Love how happy Ava is in this one, next to the kitty. She often laid on the floor to be close. Thankfully the cat didn't mind. At times, I found her playing or coloring near the cat just to be close. So cute!
Dress up time thanks to Grandma. Isabel as a ladybug & Ava as a bee. They had fun with these!
I love love love Ava's funny smile here..priceless!!!
We were so surprised to see Ava Victoria pushing Ava Sophia all over the place in the yard! They both had so much fun.
Another one of my favorites! Love this smile. She looks so much older here!
Ava & Miss Isabel loved saying cheese on the steps.
Breakfast - cereal, milk & cartoons = happy!
As you can see from all the smiles, we enjoyed ourselves. Thanks Grandma & Grandpa for letting us stay at your lovely home. And thanks again for everyone who visited. We love you all!!
Such great pictures - Ava obviously had a wonderful time and I'm glad you and Victor had some fun too! She is looking older to me as well - just as adorable as always though!
