Mommy can we go to a NEW zoo?

We have a couple of local zoos which we often take Ava to. She just loves seeing all the animals. A couple of weekends ago, Ava asked "Mommy can we go to a NEW zoo?" I thought that is a great idea, let's do it. Vic had to work on his truck so I asked my parents to join us. We went to the "Roger Williams Zoo" in Providence, RI. We had taken Ava last year but hadn't gone this summer. My parents said they hadn't been in over 15 years when admission was free way back then but not now. It was a beautiful summer day to be outdoors. We all enjoyed ourselves, especially seeing a few unusual animals along the way.

I can't recall ever seeing a Wilder beast before.

Ava has been wanting a crown for the longest time and we found this one at the gift shop.

Our days now are becoming cooler and crisper, it is time to bid farewell to summer. It was a great one! Soon it will be time to welcome Fall and all the fun fall activities we love so much.
