Spring Fever

We have had such a mild winter by typical New England standards. It only snowed a few times which is amazing for us. It figures how this year I was prepared with a snow suit for Ava and we never got a chance to use it. In fact it's still hanging in the closet with the tags. Oh well, hopefully we can use it for our next one. Anyhow the weather has been really amazing the past couple of weeks with temperatures in the 70's. It's been great to finally be outdoors. Two weekends ago we did just that. We took Ava to the local zoo and playground and she was just so excited!

Our sweet pea is growing up before our eyes. Here are some of her latest sayings that has us cracking up.

  • When wiping off Ava's drawing easel, Ava says to me "Momma that was my Masterpiece!"
  • While playing at Nana & Vovo's, they all found some worms under the flower pots. After playing with them for a while, Ava says "Nana I think we need to put them back so they can be with their family".
  • After setting down Ava's lunch at home, Ava scrunches up her nose and says to me "that's not what I ordered."
  • Ava asks me "will your belly get smaller after the baby???"... I sure hope so!!
  • While putting on shorts for the first time this spring, Ava says "Momma I can't wear those, they are too little and won't cover my legs!"
  • Ava loves to snuggle after her favorite bedtime story. She likes to say "No Momma, you're my snuggle bunny, no your my snuggle bunny.........." in the silliest and most adorable voice. I must record her saying it, it's really adorable!!
  • Ava proudly announced what she wants to call her baby sister.."Fancy Nancy Albonetty"! LOL
We all have Spring fever and look forward to getting out again for walks and all the fun outdoor activities.

  1. Great pictures! Ava's hair is getting so long - she is so adorable! Love the sunglasses and Vic on a swing! So many cute sayings - you think you will never forget them but time passes and you do. Which is why the blog is so fantastic!

  2. Thanks Kristen :) I think Ava actually got more enjoyment pushing Vic on the swing than going on it herself.
