Our New HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!

We bought our first home on 22nd of May, a few weeks after our sweet pea entered the world. What a process we endured buying this home! We spotted it in January and it only became ours at the end of May.This was our second attempt at purchasing (we spotted a home in August last year however that fell through in December when the Bank dropped the program we needed to qualify for the loan). This too was a foreclosed home and the previous owner did many "renovations" and extensions to the home all without pulling permits. What a hack job he did with everything, nothing was to code and things were just thrown together. Vic had a nightmare of a time correcting his errors. Any project that seemed easy turned into a triple time consuming and expensive project to correct. However Vic has worked night and day and the summer away preparing this house into what I know will become our lovely home. The road has not been an easy one with Vic working full time and working all night at our house and every weekend too. It has been a challenge for me to juggle two children now completely on my own at home and work full time. But thankfully we got lots of help with my family and with a lot of hard work we are managing through it. The result will be a beautiful home to be proud of and to call home. I'm so happy each of the girls will have their own room, a yard to play in and a dining room to entertain family and friends. We are blessed beyond measure and thank God for where we are today.

My next post on our home will be before and after photo reveal of this massive home renovation once we move in which should be in another month if everything goes according to schedule. We can't wait to be a family again in the same zip code and under the same roof.
