Summer & Vic's bday

Our Summer hasn't been super exciting with Vic working constantly on the house. However I have taken the girls out here and there to enjoy some summer activities such as going to the zoo.

 

We even got to celebrate Vic's birthday with a family dinner out followed up with a trip to Lowe's to pick out the bathroom vanity etc. Mom made her delicious carrot cake for dessert, yum! A couple of weeks earlier we got to have dinner with Linda too.

  

Below is Ava's portrait of Daddy while he was away working on the house. It was saved on the chalk board for serveral weeks. Guess it was her way of having Daddy present :)
