Children say the funniest things. It's so fun to see how their mind works and how they are already getting influenced from tv and everyday life. I wanted to make sure I post some of Ava's sayings before I forget them.
While over Nana & Vovo's, Ava witness one of their disagreements which translate into talking LOUDLY in Portuguese! Well Ava didn't need to be told what was going on. When I picked her up from work she immediately informs me "Vovo was MAD at Nana, yes he was mad". We all chuckled, especially my parents.
Ava & I were on our way to run an errand and she was dressed in a cute dress. On our way to the mail box she found a huge puddle to her delight. She repeated slashed & splash despite my advisement not too. Finally I snatched her up and put her in the car. She was pretty wet and needless to say I was not pleased. So while in the car she says "Mommy you don't need to be mad......it's me Ava" How does one not laugh out loud to this?
Every night, Ava & Daddy love to wrestle/ horse around. She loves to climb all over him and you can hear both of them giggling non stop! Recently Daddy had Ava hanging upside down on his back while holding her feet. Ava then yells out while laughing "Daddy I don't think this is a good idea!!"
I often refer to young girls as little girlies. Well when we are shopping and pass by say a 5 year old girl, Ava will say to her "Hello little girlie!" Most of the time these girls are pleased to see a 2 yr old call them a little girlie! However ever so often we encounter a friendly one who will respond back and say hello!
Anytime I wear something new or dress up (which isn't all that often), I can be sure that Ava will compliment me. She'll say "Wow Mommy you look so pretty! I love your dress or shirt." It melts my heart each and every time!
What a personality this little one already has. She is the most friendliest child you'll meet. She has no trouble making friends with other children. She has an insatiable appetite for life. She is our joy and our happiness. I feel my life became complete with her arrival. We love you sunshine, to the moon and back!

I'm so glad you captured some of these. You think you'll never forget because they are just so cute, but as they get older, it's harder to remember. She is just adorable!
